As a newcomer to Bible studies, I was not quite sure what to expect when I joined the Women's Bible Study group at St. Andrew by the Bay four years ago. Much to my surprise, I found myself longing for this weekly meeting with a diverse group of women. Our common bond was our faith. What I learned was that deepening my knowledge about my faith would help me grow stronger as a mother and a wife, as well as a follower of God.

The more I began to learn about my faith, the more I realized I needed and wanted to learn. Through the Bible Study, I have met many members of my parish and feel a bond with women from my church that I did not feel before. In addition, meeting Catholic women my age has allowed me to feel more comfortable with my faith, both speaking about it and carrying it in my heart throughout my daily activities.
